HIGH-GROWN GRASS MOWERS

   The first rotary drum mower for high-grown grass made by VARI, a.s. was introduced to the Czech market in the spring of 1997.

   A drum mower adapter for the DSK-316 gearbox was introduced as the first, under the trade name SAMSON 56, and it immediately became very popular for its quality of manufacturing and revolutionary design of the mowing disc. Soon the first model of the legendary drum mower BDR-595 ADELA was presented to the VARI customers. These mowers surpass other products in the market thanks to their compact design, additional safety elements for the protection of the operator, easy handling and unlimited assignment.

   Today, more than 10 types of disc and drum mowers of various modifications are manufactured in VARI, a.s. and they are popular not only in the Czech market, but also in the EU countries and last but not least in the countries of Africa. The common features of all VARI drum mowers are as follows: revolutionary technical solution of the double cutting disc with reinforced edge which ensures high strength and reliable protection of the cutting blades. Patent-protected support of four swinging blades under the degree of 3° ensures that the blades turn and don’t get damaged when they hit a stone.    The drum mowers and mowing adapters VARI are suitable for mowing of grown grass stand, including irregularly cut areas. All the mowers are intended especially for mowing of grass for hay or feeding for livestock at family and small farms. Even depressed grass can be cut well when the proper technology of mowing is used.
