DS-521B Liza 60 drum mower is a new product for 2011. It is equipped with the B&S 675 SeriesTM engine, which extends the engine types available on our machines.
Mowing with LIZA is very easy even in orchards. It is enabled by its sophisticated, newly designed wheel drive system. The free-wheel clutches in the wheels were substituted with a split drive axle for easier turning. Both lower and upper discs of the LIZA drum mower are sheet metal mouldings. The upper disc is equipped with 4 cutting blades with double-sided edges and swivel attachment. If they hit an obstacle, they turn and thus they are not damaged. The lower disc is freely rotating on the bearings and covers the screw connection of the blades with the upper disc. High strength of the cutting disc and thereby its long life time are big advantages. A safety brake stops the cutting disc in 3 seconds in case of a danger.
