A strong vertical log splitter suitable for farmer and semi-professional applications is a very new item in the VARI product range for 2011.
The log splitter is driven by a three-phase electric motor with a power of 3800 W and with a maximum splitting force of up to 10 ton. Thanks to the adjustable work table it is possible to split logs of various lengths up to 135 cm. The basic work table is near the ground, thus it is not necessary to lift the logs and the splitting is very comfortable. The log splitter is equipped with a splitting cross for so-called "cake cutting" and with a wide wedge used for very hard or distorted pieces of wood. To ensure the safety of work, the log splitter is operated with both hands and the handles are equipped with clamps which prevent pieces of the logs from flying off.
