POTATO DIGGING
Soil cultivation camp Libice nad Cidlinou 21.-22.10.2011
On 21st and 22nd October another VARI training camp took place. These camps have become a tradition in our company as we follow the principle saying that the best training is such a training which is focused on practical tests, so that everyone can see how the VARI machines work.
This camp focused on ploughing with the VARI IV minitractor. The BZN-002 hitch, the NT-3 adjusting element and the APH-352 swing plough were attached to the minitractor - these components form the complete VARI ploughing set.
Friday was reserved for expert sales men from our dealer network, VARI employees and journalists. Everybody had a chance to test ploughing with the above mentioned set personally. Then a theoretical training on rotary tillers, potato planting, hoeing and digging and all other possibilities of work with the soil using VARI machines followed. On Friday we trained another 25 ploughmen who will be able to give the best information on VARI to our customers.
Saturday was similar, only the expert sales men were replaced by gardeners, growers, cottage owners, small-scale farmers, simply everybody who is interested in the VARI machines. As the promotion of this event was massive, many people attended (as you can see in the pictures below). It was possible to meet here people who consider buying a new machine as well as current customers of our company shop who already have a VARI machine and wanted to learn about some interesting details. The VARI experts were ready to explain everything. Besides the practical tests the attendants learned how to adjust the plough to make the ploughing easy, that the plough beams have to be smooth and without colour and rust, or how to adjust the wheel locks.
Although the weather was not perfect - it was pretty cold and foggy - the participants were in good mood. Some refreshments for warming were available and sausages were grilled.
We are already looking forward to a next VARI training camp. It is a pleasure to hold these events as every visitor leaves with many positive impressions.
