Special production was also in progress intended exclusively for export, namely for the company GUTBROD: ECO-50 gearbox and cultivation blades.
Distribution in Czechoslovakia was handled by the companies ZEMPO Prague and POLNOPO Bratislava and later AGROZET Brno. The only export partner was MOTOKOV and a limited quantity was sold through the company TUZEX for “Tuzex vouchers”, so-called Bons.

• 1969 – purchase of the GUTBROD license, start of production of TERRA products at the company's own plant in Libice nad Cidlinou and with the help of cooperative production between the CMEA countries
• 1971 - 1975 –  extension of the machine park with single-purpose machines and semi-automatic lathes
• 1973 – reconstruction of the existing boiler room
• 1973 – construction of a new crane track
• 1974 – construction of a new transformer station
• 1976 – introduction of "MULTI-MACHINE OPERATION" at selected workplaces
• 1985 – termination of the TERRA licence
• 1986 – technical changes of the actual construction, creation of VARI System - from the word “VARIable”.  Commencement of production of the DSK-317 gearbox with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear, the DSK–316 gearbox, and the AKY and T-2 gearboxes for rotary tillers and cultivators. Full compatibility with the original TERRA is maintained.
• 1989 – “Velvet revolution” on November 17th in the Czech Republic
• 1990 – MEPOL Libice nad Cidlinou production plant becomes independent
• 1991 – until this year, the MEPOL production company operates as a joint-stock company wholly owned by the state
• 1992 – privatization, company owned by funds and small shareholders. Building of a dealer network in the Czech Republic and of a company shop on the factory premises began.
• 1992 – from this year onwards, VARI regularly participates in exhibition "ZAHRADA ČECH" (Garden of Bohemia) in Litoměřice
• 1992 – development a foreign trade network, the first foreign partners in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary
• 1992 – VARI QUATRO - 4-wheel minitractor introduced
• 1993 – September 3rd - the first VARI machine with the 4-stroke HONDA GXV 160 engine introduced (the legendary “sheet metal” version)
• 1995 – the second round of the privatization, Mepol is purchased from the funds and small shareholders by the BG Technik company; a development of new machines and expansion of ther product range begins
• 1995 – introduction of the RZS-68/16 drum mower adapter for DSK-316 gearbox
• 1993-1996 – new accessories for the VARI modular system placed on the market – for example 2 kW generator, bulb planter, potato planter, sowing machine, sprayer, ZK-850 sweeping brush, AZS-346 bar mower, BUSATIS mower, NP-1 bar mower
• 1996 – import of trade goods from Italy: VALEX, ALPINA, SPERRONI, ERMA
• 1996 – joint venture with MOTOR České Budějovice. MEPOL, a.s. + MOTOR JIKOV = VARI, a.s. (trading company)
• 1997 – new accessories imported from Italy – BITTANTE M-50 snow thrower
• 1997 – ROBUS System and JIKOV BDR-550 drum mower added to the product range
• 1997 – paint shop reconstruction – “powder painting” technology from the WAGNER company
• 1997 – the legendary accessories introduced: SAMSON-56 drum mower and TAJFUN-45 mulcher
• 1997 – other machines released on the market this year: OP-1.1 and OP-1.2 hay tedder, SVK-1 snow thrower, BL-55 drum mower, DZP-003 irrigation pump, H15 rake, ŽT-82 double drum mower, F5.5/V stump grinder, MOTMO rotary cultivator, TORNÁDO garden waste shredder, and the new DSK-316 PSA and DSK-316 PZ gearboxes
• 1998 – termination of joint venture with MOTOR JIKOV České Budějovice
• 1998 – start of development of own single-purpose machines for long grass cutting at VARI
• 1998 – following machines were introduced to the market: AV-3 implements carrier and OK-100 cylindrical sweeping brush, DSK-316 MULA adapter, AV-1 seat, ANV-350U push spreader and trailer  
• 1998 – PONY IIA - hobby modular system for gardeners 
• 1998 – "CZK 100 million subsidy for Czech municipalities" campaign
• 1999 – a new driving unit for VARI System with the HONDA GCV 160 engine 
• 1999 – BDR-585 ADELA drum mower and ASP-60B drum mower for PONY IIA minitractor introduced
• 1999 – a joint venture in Uzbekistan: VARI a.s. UZ
• 1999 – Mepol renamed to VARI, a.s.
• 1999-2000 – the first single-purpose mulchers of our own design, the HURRICANE F-530 and F-530.1, stump grinder called F-5,5/260 BOBR (“Beaver”)
• 1999-2002 – other versions of the BDR-585 ADELA drum mower with various engines introduced
• 2000 – introducing the VARI PROFI with HONDA GXV 65 engine
• 2000 – another version of the drum mower - OTAVA with a SPECTRA 50 engine
• 2000 – TRIMMER-50 and TRIMMER-60 string trimmers introduced - inspired by an American concept of a “brush cutter on wheels”
• 2000 – sales of VARI TURBO CUT four-wheel mowing tractors and VARI FARMÁŘ, VARI 5000 four-wheel tractors began
• 2001 – "SUBSIDY" campaing for municipalities within the Czech republic
• 2001 – LUCINA single-drum mower with a TECUMSEH CENTURA 55 engine was put on the market
• 2001 – KV-100 sweeping brush and the VARI 8 DIESEL minitractor 
• 2002 – the first samples of VARI modular system sent to Africa
• 2002 – extension of the range of single-purpose mulchers of our own design with the HURRICANE F-530.1 with B&S INTEK EDGE 60 and B&S INTEK PRO 65 engines
• 2002 – Launch of the LÍZA pushed drum mower with a TECUMSEH CENTURA 55 engine, the end of production of the AKY gearbox
• 2003 – BDR-585 ADELA drum mower was innovated: BDR-595 ADELA
• 2003 – BDR-595D ADELA introduced – a new version of the drum mower with safety covers according to a new European safety standard for the EU markets
• 2003 – the speed of DSK-316 gearboxes is reduced; from this date onwards, the gearboxes are renamed DSK-316.1
• 2003 – launch of BDR-600.4 and BDR-600.2 drum mower adapters for VARI driving units
• 2003 – beginning this year, VARI introduces the VARI MARINE production program, manufacturing small boats and piers from polypropylene
• 2004 – a new line of mulchers with laser cut space frame introduced: F-530, F-530.2, F-700
• 2004 – portable generators introduced: ECV-2.220, ECV-4.220 and ECV-6.380
• 2004 – an innovated mulcher for VARI System: TAJFUN-52
• 2005 – starting this year, VARI began to offer the ABG-CG 330 LH, ABG-CG 330 HB, and ABG-CG 430 HB brush cutters
• 2006 – ANV-350 single-axle trailer of own design introduced
• 2006 – export of VARI minitractors to Africa
• 2007 – since this year, VARI offers a trailer free of charge with the purchase of a VARI IV minitractor
• 2007 – new F-600 mulcher with a HONDA GCV-190 engine
• 2007 – DHL Export Award – 2nd place among mid-sized companies
• 2008 – EU subsidy for the “ENERGY” project – savings in the field of heating
• 2008 – a new self-proppeled drum mower introduced: DS-521 Liza
• 2008 – the first VARI double-drum mower: BDR-1200
• 2008 – other new products launched: AV-650 implement carrier, ABG CITY MASTER electric snow blade, VARI 2000 electric saw, VARI POWER METER engine rev counter
• 2009 – the new DSK-316.1 PSVN gearbox was introduced, as well as the new VARI 8 TON SUPER FORCE vertical wood splitter. ABG production of the GOLF single-drum mower began, the product range was expanded  - ABG 580 PREMIUM lawn mower.
• 2009 – intensive work began on improving the company's website, a website for ordering spare parts was launched, and an automatic KARDEX spare parts stacker was installed in the expedition department (the installation of a second stacker followed the next year).
• 2009 – a new 2-speed drum mower: BDR-620 Lucina 65
• 2009 – a simplified version of the minitractor introduced: VARI ECONOMIC
• 2009 – a contract on deliveries of drum mowers signed with the German company of AS-Motor
• 2010 – innovation of the VARI drum mowers (new blades with a logo and bigger cutting width)
• 2010 – larger ASR-1000 snow blade introduced
• 2010 – the DSK-316.1PSZ gearbox was innovated (wider gauge and wheels with inner tubes)
• 2010 – VARI began to intensively educate its business partners and employees on the topics of PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND BUSINESS SKILLS
• 2010 – the innovated RPT-2/S rotary hoe introduced
• 2011 – BDR-650 introduced - the new 2-speed mowing adapter for the Terra and VARI driving units
• 2011 – VARI KC-435 introduced - the new brush cutter of own design with a HONDA engine
• 2011 – Briggs & Stratton engines used on two models of VARI drum mowers
• 2011 – innovation of the KV sweeping brushes (bigger brush diameter and spiral arrangement of bristles)
• 2011 – 5 TON and 10 TON models added to the range of the VARI electrohydraulic log splitters
• 2011 – from this year, the T-20/A and T-20SA gearboxes are no longer produced
• 2011 – other new VARI products - VARI K-60 single-purpose rotavator, VARI 2300W electric saw, ABG-590 lawn mower
• 2011 – February 24th, the company store moves to new premises
• 2012 – large innovation of VARI System under the name VARI GLOBAL - new driving units with HONDA GCV 160, GCV 190 and GSV 190 engines, innovation of the DSK-317/S gearbox (newly marked DSK-317.1/S), tiller devices, drive axle, front wheel and ploughing wheels
• 2012 – product innovations: K-720 combinator, AV-3 implements carrier, the production of a new adjustable holder for the ASR-1000 dozer blade
• 2012 – new accessories for VARI minitractors introduced: PT-1000 aerator, VT-1000 roller, SB-400 single-row potato planter
• 2012 – new adapter - PP-60 aerator/scarifier, which is connected directly to the TERRA-VARI driving units
• 2012 – the new Hurricane F-550 brushcutter with mulching blade introduced. New innovative elements have been used for the first time for this machine, such as metal sheet cover of the cutting space (rust resistant), new design of the cutting space with bevelled sides for better crushing of the cut stand, front spur instead of the front wheel for easy pass ability through the cut grass. The new elements are protected in the OHIM database.
• 2013 – addition of the Hurricane F-550 line: F-550B, F-550 INOX and F-550GMI
• 2013 – new motorization of the Hurricane F-600 mulcher: B&S 950 Series, marked F-600B
• 2013 – production of new adapters for TERRA-VARI driving units started - BDR-650V drum mower (for the 80 mm clutches) and BDR-650A drum mower (for the 120 mm clutches)
• 2013 – sales of the innovated VARI K-60 single-purpose rotary tiller started
• 2013 – the new VARI-590H self-propelled lawnmower added to the product range
• 2014 – a new drum mower added to the product range: DS-521B AGATHA. An innovative cover of the cutting disc made of asymmetric rust resistant metal sheet. These elements are protected in the OHIM database. A new design solution of the blades attachment to the cutting disc - so called T-Bar.
• 2014 – introduction of the first BDR-620 Lucina MaX drum mower, easily convertible to a brush cutter with mulching blade - more accessories will come soon
• 2014 – the production and sales of the Kajman-55 garden waste shredder started
• 2014 – launch of new professional log splitters: VARI 16 TON SUPER FORCE and VARI 20 TON SUPER FORCE
• 2014 – a new trailer for the VARI minitractors introduced - ANV-400
• 2014 – introduction of the new PJXP200 driving unit with a VARI XP-200 four-stroke engine and new motorization of the AGATHA drum mower with a VARI XP-200 engine
• 2014 – office administration moves to new premises
• 2015 – the new VARI Rapido spiral wood chipper introduced. It is available in two versions: for VARI driving units as well as with a built-in engine
• 2015 – a winter adapter for the Lucina MAX multifunctional carrier introduced - the SP-800 snow blade
• 2015 – launch of the small single-purpose CB-80 sweeping brush, including a wide range of accessories
• 2015 – The successful "Eco-Subsidy" campaign concerning the Terra-VARI engines started in the Czech Republic
• 2015 – launch fo the VARI e-shop
• 2016 – the biggest news this year is the RAPTOR HYDRO multifunctional carrier with accessories: a drum mower, mulching adapter, and ANV-200 trailer. This product won first prize at the TECHAGRO exhibition in Brno GRAND PRIX 2016
• 2016 – following the highly successful ECO SUBSIDY (replace your old engine with a new one) campaign, a new campaign called ŠROTOVNÉ (replace your old gearbox with a new one) was launched in the Czech republic
• 2016 – the new F-700 HYDRO mulcher was introduced to the market, along with new accessories for the LUCINA MaX multifunctional drum mower, namely the PK-950 passive brush, and the new ANV-380 tipping trailer
• 2016 – the 10,000th VARI XP 200 engine was delivered as part of the ECO SUBSIDY campaign
• 2017 –  start of production of the Agatha drum mower with an INSTART technology engine. VARI is thus the first manufacturer of drum mowers with electric start in the world
• 2017 – expansion of the VARI system with the W3000V pressure washer – a machine that can be directly connected to VARI driving units. At the same time, the W3000Z motorized pressure washer with a VARI XP-200 engine was introduced.
• 2017 – launch of our own line of lawnmowers
• 2017 – the RSR-1000 dozer blade for the RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carrier
• 2018 – expansion of the grass program for park maintenance with additional models of lawnmowers and lawn tractors with a wide range of accessories
• 2018 – the popular RAPIDO and RAPIDO plus wood chippers are joined by the new RAPIDO POWER plus with an 8HP B&S 950 E engine and a heavier flywheel designed for even more demanding usage
• 2018 – a new system of operation for the F-700 Hydro mulcher and RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carrier allowing full use of the hydrostatic gearbox - enables to change gears with no need to stop the blade drive
• 2019 – VARI, a.s. celebrates 50 years since purchasing the license to manufacture TERRA minitractors, which laid the foundation for the current VARI system
• 2019 – introduction of new accessories for TERRA-VARI and VARI GLOBAL minitractors – the TK-01 third wheel, useful for pulling logs out of the forest, for example, new AF-550 mulcher designed for VARI driving units
• 2019 – another accessory was added to the LUCINA MAX multifunctional carrier – the SH-600 finger-wheel rake, which is designed for hay raking by turning
• 2019 – a new accessory has been added to the RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carrier – the RKV-1000 sweeping brush with the ROR-1000 snow blade. This makes the RAPTOR Hydro usable all year round.
• 2019 – launch of the first lawnmower with the new HONDA GCVx 170 engine, implementation of new GCVx series engines will follow
• 2019 – the complete range of VARI log splitters has been modified in accordance with new EU standards for safety when working with log splitters. Due to its great popularity and customer demand, it has been expanded with additional models.
• 2020 – introduction of the new KOHLER COMMAND PRO CV 224 engine in specifications for RAPTOR HYDRO and the VARI system drive unit. RAPTOR HYDRO with the new KOHLER engine entered series production.
• 2020 – new chassis for VARI system driving units – BDR-650V drum mower and AF-550 brush cutter
• 2020 – launch of additional accessories for the VARI system – PN-200 winch for pulling and approaching wood
• 2020 – expansion of the wood splitter range – VARI 11 TON SUPER FORCE 230 V with electric motor and VARI 16 TON GAS FORCE with four-stroke combustion engine
• 2020 – launch of a model series of petrol water pumps
• 2021 – introduction of the new generation of HONDA engines - GCV 170 and GCV 200
• 2021 – the first professional single-purpose drum mower BDR-720 Adela PRO with reverse gear and hitch for connecting the AV-650 seat
• 2021 – presentation of the new CB-800 and CB-1000 series of sweeping brushes
• 2021 – launch of the PJCV224 drive unit with a KOHLER COMMAND PRO CV224 four-stroke engine
• 2022 – installation of a fuel pump and new carburetor cover on the RAPTOR Hydro multifunctional carrier
• 2022 – a new product: professional PV-150 earth auger
• 2022 – expansion of the lawn tractor range: RL 98 HW  lawn tractor with a powerful GGP two-cylinder engine – 586 cm3
• 2022 – new products in the lawnmower product range: VARI CP1 484 G, MP1 504 G and MP1 504 GES models with GGP engines
• 2023 – new trailer for the VARI minitractor: ANV-500 trailer with vertical sidewalls
• 2023 – introduction of a new generation of drive, which is an ecological alternative to combustion engines - an EGO 56V electric engine - a separate VARI powered by EGO product line was created with the first machines - the CB-800E and CB-1000E sweeping brush
• 2024 – VARI powered by EGO series expanded with other machines - E.RAPIDO wood chipper, W3000E pressure washer, F-580E HURRICANE brush cutter/mulcher and BDR-620E LUCINA MAX multifunctional drum mower
• 2024 – launch of a new 4+R mechanical gearbox with Hilliard´s patented automatic differential lock, final assembly takes place in VARI and is designated ADL -Automatic Differential Lock, gradually appearing in the VARI product line
• 2024 – introduction of the PRO series, machines with a four-speed gearbox and reverse gear, automatic differential lock, service and parking brakes and a hitch for connecting a seat – an innovative BDR-720 ADELA PRO drum mower, F-590 HURRICANE PRO mulcher, CB-1000 PRO sweeping brush
• 2024 – four models of petrol inverter VARI generators with the outputs from 2000 W to 5500 W
