The drum mowers (or rotary mowers) are perfect helpers for long grass cutting, that can be used for animal feed or for drying. Our drum mowers feature in robustness, high reliability, safety, stability, perfect ergonomics and power not only on the plain, but on slopes as well.
We produce the drum mowers as single-purpose machines, which are intended for customers who need to cut the long grass only or as multifunctional machines with exchangeable accessories and it is possible to use the machine for additional works. More information below.
Except for the single-purpose drum mowers we produce multifunctional carriers as well, which have a long tradition in VARI. It is possible to connect not only the drum mower, but also a whole range of other adapters for grass mulching, hay tedding, snow cleaning or for load transport. You can change the adapters very easily, so that the machine will be a great helper all year round.
Since 1997 we produce the legendary SAMSON-56 drum mower for the VARI system, which is connected to the active PTO of the DSK-316 gearbox. It is possible to change the drum mower for other accessories without using tools thanks to the “click-clack” system.
Since 2004 we produce a separate cutting gear for the direct connection to VARI driving units. The BDR-650V drum mower is intended for four-stroke engines.
