BDR-620B Lucina Max

The Lucina MaX drum mower is as a basic model intended for long grass cutting in gardens with an area up to 15 000 m2. The drum mower is equipped with a new four-stroke B&S 875 EXi engine, it is a two-speed machine with a working width of 62 cm. Except for the drum mower, it is possible to attach a mulcher, a snow blade and a passive brush.

Product description

The Lucina MaX as a drum mower is characterized by a perfect balancing while working on plane and on slopes as well, it has a fixed drive axle, a tough resistant frame with an asymmetric red coloured cover of the cutting disc made of HDG sheet-metal, which enables a better direction of cut grass and its laying into rows. It ensures a perfect operator´s safety at the same time. A working tool of the drum mower is a four-bladed cutting disc – a very robust pressed part with an allover steel fender apron, which protects the blade bracing. The T-Bar bracing of the blades increases an circumferential toughness of the cutting drum and its whole lifetime.

The converting of the machine into a mulcher, a snow blade or a brush is very easy. It takes from 10 to 15 minutes using the tools and it is possible to make the assembly yourself. The connection of the accessories drive is assured by a patented system of a split shaft and a grooved clutch. This solution enables easy disassembly for a whole lifetime of the machine.

Further is the operator´s comfort improved by a handlebars adjustment in 6 positions, ergonomic levers with a low pressure to the hands and grips with air chambers, which eliminate micro vibrations. Big 8” wheels with an arrow pattern ensures a better pass ability through the terrain.

Thanks to the strap holders integrated directly to the machine frame for better fixation of the machine during the transport meets the machine a strict EU norm for safe load transport.

The four-stroke BRIGGS&STRATTON 875 EXi engine has a carburettor more resistant to a low quality fuel in comparison with the 850 E. The special starter cover designed specially for VARI with small air channels prevents the engine from penetrating small impurities. This special VARI engine specification is equipped with a foam pre-filter of a classical paper air filter, which together with the above mentioned cover ensure much better engine protection and thus longer lifetime of the engine.
