New productsThis year's camp focused on autumn ploughing using the VARI IV Global mintractor with the APH-352 swing plough. At the same time it was also possible to test the new BDR-620 Lucina MaX drum mower and the F-550B brush cutter with mulching blade.
On the first day, the weather was very bad, raining from the very morning, the soil was soaking wet and the conditions for ploughing were bad. Despite these conditions the camp took place and 30 visitors arrived. They had a possibility to test that the VARI machine can do the work at any weather if the minitractor and the plough are correctly adjusted.
On Saturday there was already sunshine and the number of visitors was corresponding - about 60 people interested in ploughing and mowing with VARI machines came. The conditions were better but not yet ideal. But nobody cared, the day was very nice and the minitractor as well as the mowers were permanently in operation.
This year we had a special opportunity - a group of customers brough their own 23 years old swing plough. They use it for their common land but were not satisfied with the results. We hold these events to satisfy the customers, so we attached this plough to the minitractor. They were right - the soil stuck to the plough, it was pushed by the plough and badly overturned. Therefore the green fertilizer stayed at the surface without being ploughed under. One of the most important rules of correct ploughing was confirmed again - THOROUGHLY POLISHED MOULDBOARD. The plough was not sufficiently polished and that's why the soild stuck to it. You can see the test on the video below.
We are very happy that this year's camp of ploughing was so successful. We trained 20 expert salesmen who are ready to provide our customers with information on how to use the minitractor correctly. We showed to seventy current and potential customers, VARI brand fans and curious people passing by that the ploughing with the VARI machine is easy if the tools are correctly adjusted. Many people also tested the ploughing personally. It is important that many children and young people attended too. They tested the VARI machines under the supervision of the adults - we're raising a new generation of VARI fans.
