On 13th July 2012 the official delegation from the Ministry of Food And Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance And Economic Planning of the Republic of Ghana visited VARI, a.s. The chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Republic of Ghana - Mr. Sidney Kwesi Ellis - joined the delegation as well. The main topics of the meeting were deliveries of VARI machinery in next years, good experience with everyday operation of VARI machines in Africa and introduction of new products developed specially for needs of the users in Africa.

The most popular machine was the new VARI GLOBAL minitractor with a new driving unit and with easy replacement of wheels by rotary tiller blades. The watertightness of the DSK-317.1/S gearbox was appreciated too. The visitors were most delighted with new acessories for the VARI driving units, especially a boat engine and an electric generator.

The VARI minitractor is one of the most useful working tool for the small-scale farmers in Ghana and the first delivery of 2000 sets is only a droplet in the sea, said Mr. Maurice Abisa-Seidu, the Chief Director of the Ministry of Food And Agriculture of the Republic of Ghana.

We are very pleased with the success of our machines in such a distant country and we are ready to work on more deliveries. The VARI modular system shows its quality and brilliance of its concept again as it succeeded in the most difficult conditions.
