What is the expected lifetime of the 2-stroke driving units, compared with the new Honda 4-stroke engines?

It depends on a variety of factors, so please consider the following number of working hours as very rough. The theoretic lifetime of the two-stroke engines is approx. 2500 working hours (including maximum of 3 general overhauls which are can be done on these engines). The expected lifetime of the HONDA GCV engines is 1500-1700 working hours. It is a very rough limit only, we see HONDA GCV engines with much more working hours. It is recommended to use the VARI Power Meter to be able to monitor the working hours exactly. It will make it easier to follow the servicing intervals - their observance strongly influences the lifetime of the engines.
