Is it possible to replace the Tecumseh or Briggs & Stratton engine on an old single-purpose VARI BDR-585 drum mower with a HONDA engine?

It is possible. We recommend to use the HONDA GCV 160 engine. It is also necessary to replace the accelerator lever with cable. Maybe also the clutch under the engine, depending on its condition.
