Why are the new VARI gearboxes red? Is there any difference against the original black ones?

We decided to change our colour scheme because of the new policy of the HONDA engines supplier. Since 2006, the engines for OEM producers are black. To keep the colour scheme of our brand, we've changed the colour of our gearboxes at the same time. All the VARI gearboxes are assembled in our manufacturing facility in Libice nad Cidlinou and each gearbox goes through a careful output inspection (leak tightness, noise, gear shifting, connection of the driving unit, etc.) The quality of our gearboxes is guaranteed by the 5-year warranty (in the Czech Republic; warranty conditions in other countries may vary and are fully in the hands of the local distributors/importers) and the tradition of the VARI brand (since 1969).
