UNIQUE ARC–SHAPED DESIGN

Unlike the usual battery shape in the form of a "prism", where individual electric cells are arranged next to each other and in rows above each other like bricks closed in a case, Arc-shaped design provides a more sophisticated layout that allows access of cooling air to each individual cell, thus a larger cooling surface. Each cell is surrounded by our unique Keep Cool^TM material that keeps cells at their optimum temperature for longer time. In addition, the battery´s ARC shape transfers heat away from the cells both during operation and during charging and thus there is no reduction in performance, capacity and battery life.

The patented construction of the 56V Arc Lithium battery easily copes with the temperature balance of the cells.

The battery heats up during operation. The more energy it puts out, the more heat is released. In case of overheating, the battery is usually switched off for safety reasons. Heat is not good for electric cells and significantly reduces their lifetime. Therefore, effective cooling of the battery cells is necessary to achieve maximum performance and long lifetime. The cooling of individual cells and the removal of excess heat from the batteries is solved on three innovative levels - mechanical, chemical and electrical.

EXTENDED COOLING AREA

Shaping the battery and arranging the cells in the Arc layout – in an arc or portal, is a more sophisticated solution in terms of ensuring the access of cooling air to each individual cell, thus a larger cooling surface and prevention of overheating. Unlike the usual classic "prism" battery shape, where the individual cells are arranged next to each other and in rows above each other like bricks, the individual cells are placed so that each cell is as close as possible to the battery case, which enables to remove heat from the cells to the outside.

KEEP COOL^TM TECHNOLOGY

Not only the innovative Arc shape of the batteries helps to prevent overheating. There is another well-thought-out method of cooling. Each cell is surrounded by our unique Keep Cool^TM material that and changes its structure depending on the temperature, absorbs heat energy and keeps the individual cells at their optimum temperature for longer operation.

INTELLIGENT POWER

Even the dosage of battery power is not out of control. The EGO Power+ 56V Arc Lithium™ battery is continuously monitored and controlled by software and microprocessors in the control unit inside the battery, as well as by a sophisticated sampling system for each machine. Intelligent power management constantly monitors and optimises each individual cell. You will always get the very best power, performance and run time.

EXTERIOR MOUNTED

Unlike other brands where batteries are encased on the inside, the EGO batteries fit onto the outside of the EGO tools to stay cool. Thanks to this feature, unlimited air access is maintained, the batteries remain sufficiently cooled and provide long and constant performance. They are protected from dust and moisture by a resin coating and a shock and vibrations absorbing case.

EGO ENGINE DEVELOPED FOR VARI MACHINES

The powerful AC electric engine with its own control electronics is equipped with PEAK POWER technology, which uses energy from two batteries parallel connected. There are two slots for EGO 56 V batteries, which are partially covered, its own active and passive cooling of the electric engine and electronics and the EGO engine fully replaces the power class of c. 5 HP.

The engine has the IPX5 standard and the battery IPX4 standard = all electrical components, motherboards and EGO batteries are covered on the control electronics with nano varnish. If there is contact with water (not water immersion), the nano varnish protects against oxidation and corrosion of the parts. Tested, for example, on EGO snow blowers.
