The F-550 Hurricane line is the entry level line of VARI machines for disposal of the grass. The machines are meant for hobby and middle-heavy applications. It will serve well to all garden and weekend house owners as well as to fruit growers, wine growers and small municipalities. The F-550 line is available in two modifications: F-550B with the Briggs & Stratton 850 SeriesTM engine, F-550 with the HONDA GCV 190 engine.

The most of grassy areas owners only need to cut the grass once a while and keep their land tidy. They don’t want to solve problems how to deal with the mowed grass. The F-550 brush cutter with mulching blade is a perfect helper for disposing of grass as it is able to cut dense, fresh grass, old grass as well as self-seeding plants with a diameter of up to 1 cm without problems. The machine is equipped with two speeds, cutting width of 58 cm and many technical features which count this machine among top products in its category.

The F-550 brush cutter with mulching blade is a few steps ahead regarding the technology used for it. It is built on a new frame - much tougher and with the torsion strength higher for 20 %. The cutting space is made of stainless steel, which is strongly resistant to rusting. In addition, its shape was newly designed: there are bevelled surfaces at the upper part, increasing the mulching effect. Thanks to this modification the grass rest left by this machine is for 50 % smaller compared to competitive machines. The design of the cutting space is patented in the OHIM European database. The front spur is another patented new solution. It is highly functional and perfectly guides the machine even in the most difficult terrain, it makes almost no pressure on the ground and therefore the uncut grass is not trodden down. The cutting height can be adjusted from 4 to 9 cm in sixteen positions using the spur. The well-proven elements from the previous generations of our machines are used again: such as the solid GATOR mulching blade, the safety brake of the blade, the independent switching of wheel and cutting drives and the ergonomic handlebars. The handlebars are now equipped with new handgrips with air chambers, eliminating microvibrations from the engine. The handlebars can be adjusted more precisely, in six positions. Now every user can find the optimal position behind the handlebars. This fact, together with its weight of only 55 kg and the low centre of gravity, ensure that it will be very easy to operate the machine even in the most difficult conditions.
