The AF-550 brush cutter was designed on the basis of the F-550 HURRICANE brush cutter and the well-proven features, except for the engine and the flange for the driving units, remain the same.

It is intended for the land owners who need to cut the grass once in a while and thus keep the plot clean and they don't want to use the grass for feeding animals etc. The brush cutter with mulching blade copes with dense, fresh grass, old grass as well as with self-seeding plants with a diameter of up to 1 cm. It is suitable for extensive mulching three to five times a year. In case you don´t need to dry hay it is a great alternative to the BDR-650V drum mower adapter. The mulcher is a well-balanced machine for work in plane areas as well as on slopes, it has a fixed axle, two speeds, tough and resistant frame with a zinc coated cutting space. The zinc cover is not only rust resistant, but makes the machine more shockproof and mechanic stress resistant as well. The machine is equipped with a solid GATOR mulching blade. The VARI company has several patents on this machine - a cutting space cover, a front spur and a cutting blade support. Thanks to the above-mentioned technical solutions leaves the machine 50% less grass rest.
