VARI philosophy

Who are we?

We are a medium-sized company that employs 95 people at our production plant in Libice nad Cidlinou. VARI was founded in 1969. Compared to other Czech companies operating in the field of small garden equipment, we can be proud of having the longest history of production.  The company is 100% Czech-owned.

Where are we heading?

Today, the VARI brand is not just about minitractors and bar mowers. On the contrary, the brand is characterized by several well-designed product lines that are successfully finding their way to customers not only in the Czech Republic but also in other countries. Under the VARI brand, we also offer a range of trade goods that we are directly involved in developing and manufacturing. Our goal is to deliver high-quality and innovative technical solutions, good performance, and compatibility of our products, thus continuing the tradition and building the good name of the VARI brand.

What values form the basis of VARI's successful business?

We manufacture sophisticated and well-designed machines that always offer a number of exceptional features compared to comparable machines from other manufacturers in their price and performance class. We pride ourselves on the history of our brand, and our goal is to never disappoint our customers' trust in VARI machines.

We strive to create high-quality products that serve well for many years while maintaining an attractive market price. We do not manufacture substandard products that often force customers to replace the entire machine. We take responsibility for machines manufactured in the past and ensure maximum compatibility and long-term availability of spare parts. The VARI brand has been popular with previous generations, and more than 70 % of the machines manufactured in the last 55 years are still being used by their customers.

PRODUCTION PROGRAM

The modular VARI GLOBAL minitractors – small garden and agricultural machinery

VARI GLOBAL minitractors with a wide range of accessories for transporting loads and cultivating soil: ploughs, cultivators and loosening device, potato hillers, potato planters, harrows, smoothing harrows, tipping trailers, implement carriers, etc.

We also manufacture minitractors for municipal work throughout the year. These machines excel in their reliability and easy conversion from a drum mower to a mulcher, snow thrower or dozer blade for snow, sand and other bulk materials. We manufacture a whole range of accessories for various tasks.

Single-purpose garden machinery

Mulchers/brushcutters with mulching blades (HURRICANE series), drum mowers for cutting long grass (the most popular was ADELA), lawnmowers with a grass bag, multifunctional carriers Raptor Hydro and Lucina MaX, brushcutters, generators, pressure washers, wood chippers, log splitters, firewood processor and wood saws.

The VARI powered by EGO series – machines with a 56 V EGO battery engine, which is an environmentally friendly alternative to combustion engines.

VARI and environmental protection

We meet strict internal regulations for waste management, carefully sort waste, and monitor the quality of water we release back into circulation thanks to our own wastewater treatment plant. We use low-energy technologies in our production. We have a powder coating shop and a water-based paint shop. We use recycled paper for all packaging.
With the help of the EU, we have invested in decentralizing heating and insulating buildings, reducing gas consumption by 65% year-on-year. We are implementing a complete modernization of lighting throughout the company, with the aim of reducing electricity consumption and improving lighting comfort in individual workplaces.

We participate in the collective fulfillment of obligations for the take-back of used electrical equipment (garden equipment products containing electric drives) and used tires that are placed on the Czech market (tires on garden machinery).

We only use modern four-stroke engines in our products, which meet the strict EURO V emission standards.

We are committed to maximum environmental respect. Our machines are used to grow healthy organic products or help to mow grass for further processing. Ecology and respect for the environment are important issues at VARI, and we pay close attention to them.
